1. Category A0 (2 songs)
a. One song using Indonesian language (no dialect).
b. One song using foreign language.
2. Category A1, A2, dan B1 (3 songs)
a. One song composed/arranged by a composer/arranger from the participant origin country.
b. One song composed/arranged by a composer/arranger from other country.
c. One free choice.
d. Maximum 2 songs can be performed with musical instrument.
3. Category A3, B2, dan S (3 songs)
a. One song composed/arranged written before 1900.
b. One song composed/arranged written in 1900 or after 1900.
c. One free choice.
d. Maximum 1 song can be performed with musical instrument.
4. Category F (2 songs)
Two contrasting Folklore songs from the participant origin country.

The duration of the performance will be calculated from the first note of the first song until the last song, including pauses between songs.
a. Category A0 and F: 5-10 minutes
b. Category A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, and S: 10-15 minutes

The participants that have to perform at Grand Prix round:
Champion of Category or Teams that will be chosen by the judges.

Each choir team should perform:
a. A song that has been performed in the previous round.
b. A freely chosen song that has not been performed in the previous round.
Each team will only have 10 minutes of actual singing time to perform their songs.

The duration of the performance will be calculated from the first note of the first song until the last song, including pauses between songs.

The Grand Prix Champion will be rewarded SGD 1000.

1. Registration documents that must be submitted in soft copy:
a. Registration form.
b. Photocopy of every singers’ identities, conductor, and musician.
c. Payment slip.
d. A photograph of the respective choir.
e. A short biography of the choir.

All Category Champions of St. Louis International Choral Festival shall compete in
GRAND PRIX ROUND on the stage of CIPUTRA HALL SURABAYA, the most prestigious hall in Surabaya.

In the end of the contest, THE AWARDING NIGHT will be the joyous celebration
for every achievement from all contestants.
