Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah (MPLS) yang menjadi salah satu acara populer di SMA Katolik St. Louis 1 diadakan pada tanggal 15 -18 Juli 2024 lalu. Sebelum MPLS dimulai, seluruh siswa siswi kelas X mengikuti Pra MPLS sebagai awal perkenalan dengan guru, karyawan, kakak tutor, dan juga persiapan untuk mengikuti MPLS utama.
MPLS diadakan selama 4 hari, dengan tema The Lost City yang digambarkan sebagai kota yang hilang di dasar lautan, dengan berbagai keanekaragaman hayati laut sebagai simbol masing-masing kelas, seperti X-Lobster untuk kelas X-L, X-Jellyfish untuk kelas X-J.
Berbagai kegiatan diadakan untuk menunjang siswa siswi baru agar memahami dan memiliki sikap yang tertuang dalam budaya sekolah yaitu Bersih, Ramah, Jujur, Disiplin, Tangguh dan Peduli ketika mereka nantinya menempuh masa SMA di St. Louis 1. Beberapa kegiatan tersebut antara lain Eco School, Seminar Penyalahgunaan NARKOBA, Wawasan Kebangsaan, Peraturan Baris Berbaris, Refleksi Harian dan Outbound.
Pembacaan komitmen masing-masing kelas pada malam inagurasi, Kamis (18/7) menandakan berakhirnya MPLS tahun ajaran 2024/2025.
Orientation week (MPLS), one of the most popular events at St. Louis 1 Catholic High School, was held from 15 to 18 July 2024. Before the MPLS begins, all grade X pupils follow the Pre-MPLS as an introduction to teachers, employees, tutors, and also preparation for the main MPLS.
The MPLS was held for four days, with the theme of The Lost City depicted as a lost city on the ocean floor, with a variety of marine biodiversity as symbols for each class, such as X-Lobster for class X- L, X-Jellyfish for Class X- J. Various activities were organized to encourage new schoolchildren to understand and have an attitude focused on the school culture of Clean, Friendly, Honest, Disciplined, Strong and Caring when they passed their high school years at St. Louis 1. Some of these activities include Eco School, Drug Abuse Seminar, National Perspective, Line Rules, Daily Reflection and Outbound.
Reading the commitments of each class on the inauguration night, Thursday (18/7) marks the end of the MPLS school year 2024/2025.
