On the 28th of March until 2nd of April, a study tour was held by SMAK St. Louis 1 Surabaya. The study tour took place in Taipei which is the capital city of Taiwan. The study tour itself has the purpose to prepare students for their college. There were multiple universities visited in this study tour such as NTU, NTUST, NTNU, and Tsinghua. In each visit, a brief explanation about the university was given by the tutors of the university. Therefore the students will be able to understand general things about the university such as the social life, academic life, etc.
Besides visiting multiple universities the participants also visited some famous places around Taipei such as Taipei 101, Tamsui night Market, Ximending, Dahu Park, Chiang Kai Shek memorial hall, etc. Other than preparing for future studies, this study tour also has the purpose for the students to understand unique cultures. At the end of the day, the study tour went smoothly and this study shall be an unforgettable experience by the teacher and the students.
