On Saturday, the 24th of September 2022, SMAK St Louis 1 Surabaya’s teacher coaching was held. Teachers from all grades participated in this program. This time, they had the theme “Gentleness in Work”. The coaching took place at 07.30 – 09.30 and was led by Romo Antonius Gigih Julianto, CM as the speaker.
Romo Antonius has served in the Philippines, Kamerun, and France. He was ordained in Kepanjen 18 years ago on 22 September 2004. During the teacher coaching, Romo Antonius quoted Colossians 3 : 12, “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”
Romo Antonius also quoted Ephesians 4 : 2, “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” These two verses taught everything about gentleness. After the program was over, it was then followed with a holy mass at St. Mary Miraculous Medal.
