St. Louis 1’s annual immersion is back, though unlike usual. Due to COVID-19 related issues, the original plan to go to Blitar was postponed. In the meantime, imersi mandiri was held in the homes of the 11th graders, specifically on the 8th and 9th of December. They planned a 2-day schedule consisting of activities that serve to serve others, such as doing house chores and cooking for their loved ones. Although it is not as effective as regular immersions, this program teaches students that small acts of kindness to the people around them, do matter.
